Introducing Advanced Graphing: Visualize Your Data Like Never Before

We are excited to announce our new advanced graphing capabilities, designed to give you even more control, customization, and precision for analyzing your weather data. Whether you're a weather enthusiast or simply want to visualize multiple locations or conditions, these powerful new tools will transform how you interact with weather data.
How to Access Advanced Graphing:
To access Advanced Graphing, you must have an AWN+ subscription. Visit www.ambientweather.net or download the app on Android or iOS to access the Ambient Weather Network. Once you create a free account and log in, you can upgrade by clicking the AWN + icon in your menu or on the map.
- Advanced Graphing: Login to your AWN Account and select “Advanced Graphing” in the main menu. To access the main menu, click the AWN logo on desktop or tap the hamburger menu in the bottom right on the mobile app.

Key Features of Advanced Graphing:
- Select Multi-Station or Multi-Parameter Graphing: View multiple stations or parameters on a single graph, providing comprehensive insights in one view. Whether you want to see how temperatures vary between locations or track humidity alongside rainfall, multi-station and multi-parameter graphing makes it simple.
- Multi-Axis Display: Multiple metrics will now be displayed on separate axes to ensure each parameter is clearly represented. No more cramped data or unclear trends—each axis is tailored to the metrics you're monitoring, giving you a clean, easy-to-read display.
- Bar vs. Line Graph Options: Choose how you want to visualize your data with flexible graphing options. Set a parameter as a bar graph while keeping others as line graphs to emphasize specific trends, such as outdoor temperature compared to wind speed changes over the same period.
- Effortless Graph Organization: Keep your graphs neat and easily accessible with custom naming, minimizing to just the name, and reordering your graphs so you can quickly identify and expand your favorite views.
- Quick Zoom for In-Depth Analysis: Zoom in on specific sections of your graph to examine granular details by holding down and dragging your cursor across the area of the graph you want to explore. See how a sudden change in barometric pressure affected local wind speeds or isolate temperature spikes to understand microclimate variations. To return to your original view, click “Reset Zoom” in the graph.
- Seamless Graph Duplication and Editing: Duplicate any graph to quickly set up new comparisons or experiment with different parameters and stations without starting from scratch. Select the edit icon under any graph to change the parameters or station, and select the paper icons to duplicate the graph. It's a time-saving feature that lets you refine your analysis in seconds.
- Toggle Stations or Parameters On and Off: Toggle stations or parameters on and off by clicking on the legend at the bottom of the graph. This interactive feature lets you instantly adjust your view to highlight the most critical data points without creating new graphs.
- Export Your Data and Graphs: Share your findings or save them for future reference with our expanded export functionality. Download an image of your graph as a PNG, JPEG, PDF, or SVG, or download all of the data within the graph as CSV or XLS to dive even deeper into weather trends.
