Consider two homes in the same neighborhood.

Home A has mature trees, dense landscaping, and a shaded backyard. Home B has fewer trees, a large patio, and full afternoon sun. The regional report may show 85°F, but Home B could be several degrees warmer.

The forecast did not fail. It simply cannot account for every surface, tree, structure, and patch of shade around every home.
