which allow programmers to create apps, including uploading to CWOP.

How Do I Generate An API Key For Third Party Applications?

How to report to Automatic Packet Reporting System (APRS) using Weatherbridge


Automatic Packet Reporting System (APRS)
  1. In the Weatherbridge Control Panel select the ‘Weather Network’ tab.
  2. Select APRS from the ‘Add more Weather Networks’ drop down list
  3. APRS Server: rotate.aprs2.net:14580
  4. APRS ID is your Ham radio Call Sign
  5. APRS RegNum is generated here ( https://apps.magicbug.co.uk/passcode/ ). Enter your callsign, and it’ll return a passcode
  6. Click the ‘Save’ button at the bottom.
  7. You will soon be reporting to APRS: http://www.aprs-is.net/

To obtain your CWOP ID using Weatherbridge:

  1. In the Weatherbridge Control Panel select the ‘Weather Network’ tab.
  2. Select CWOP from the ‘Add more Weather Networks’ drop down list
  3. In order to upload data, you need credentials from CWOP. Visit:
    http://www.findu.com/citizenweather/cw_form.html.
  4. Check your email for your CWOP ID.
  5. Enter your new CWOP ID into Weatherbridge
  6. Click the ‘Save’ button at the bottom
  7. You will soon be reporting to CWOP at the following URL: http://www.findu.com/cgi-bin/wx.cgi?call=YOUR_CWOP_ID

Yes, the WeatherBridge will communicate with an ObserverIP Module.

The ObserverIP module also communicates with your sensor array.

  1. If you own an Observer Series, you need only add an ObserverIP module.
    Choose WS-1400-IP under Station Settings when setting up the module.

If you have a non Ambient Weather weather station such as Davis Instruments, La Crosse, Oregon Scientific etc you can have your weather station report to AmbientWeather.net and 30+ other weather networks. This is done with our Weatherbridge or Weatherbridge Nano.

To login remotely, from the System Tab on your WeatherBridge, select the checkbox “Allow login from the internet via this URL”, as shown in the following figure:

Next, click on “this URL” and your web browser will open. Copy and paste the:

To remotely access your WeatherBridge and WeatherBridgePro, from a computer on your local area network (LAN), open a web browser and type:

Select the System Panel and check the box:

Next, click on this URL to view this link. Your web browser will open and display the encrypted link. Your browser address bar will look similar to this:

To view the MAC address of the WeatherBridge or WeatherBridgePro, select the Weather Network tab from the user interface.

To program the WeatherBridge, it must be connected to a local area network (LAN). The hotspot must be within wireless range of this local area network.

When programming the wireless LAN (WLAN) on the WeatherBridge, choose the hotspot for the SSID.
