Frequently Asked Questions

There are two methods for potentially updating the firmware on the WS-2000, 5000, or 4000 console.  For older consoles, you must manually update the firmware using a MicroSD card.  For consoles purchased in 2024 or later, you can also perform this process via WiFi.

Firmware Update - Manually

REQUIRED TOOL(S): Micro SD Card between 4-32GBs (Anything outside this range is not compatible with our consoles)

Instructions:

Download the latest hardware firmware file (Available Firmware Updates) to your computer and save as Factory.bin. Make a note of where you saved this file. 
Note:  File may download as another file name; Rename to Factory.bin

1. Copy the Factory.bin to your Micro-SD Card (the SD card must be empty and format FAT32).
2. Power down your display console by removing AC power.
3. Insert the SD Card into the display console.
4. Power up the display console.
5. The console will verify the firmware was updated.
6. Power down the console after complete. Remove the SD Card when the console is powered down.
