UV Index Sensor Reads Low.

  1. If the UV Index reads low, first we recommend you check your local UV Index here:

You will find the UV Index to be 0 or 1 in many parts of the country during the winter.

2. Clean the UV and solar radiation sensors on your array with a damp cloth (#9 and #10 in the figure below:

3. If the problem persists, there is an adjustment gain on your console or IP Module.  For example, if your UV is reading 50% low, you would set the UV gain to 2.

UV Calibrated = 2 x UV Measured

4. The sensor array needs replacing.
