Frequently Asked Questions

_{PLEASE NOTE: You can only export data to a PC, Mac or Linux Desktop or Laptop computer. You cannot download data to a tablet or smartphone due to device limitations.}

To download data from AmbientWeather.net:

1. Access your historical data by switching to the Graphs & Tables page of your Dashboard
2. Switch to Tables View by selecting the Tables icon 
3. Define a date range by selecting the calendar dates toward the top right corner of the window
4. To download data for the date range, tap the download icon
5. You will be prompted to export All Data (5-minute), or the Daily Summary Data:
6. A status bar will provide the percent-download completed:
   
7. Save the csv files (comma separated value)  to your computer.

csv files can be read by most data management programs, such has Excel, MySQL and more.
