Frequently Asked Questions

The WS-1000-WiFi Series weather station will set the date and time automatically when connected to WiFi. The only requirement is to set the Time Zone.

To manually set the date and time, press the Settings icon  to go to the Setup page.

Press the down arrow button  to highlight Date and Time Setup, and press the plus  button. The Setup Date and Time Panel will be displayed.

Press the down  button and the Time: field will be highlighted in yellow and the hour will be highlighted in red.

Press the plus or minus  buttons to increase or decrease the hour.

Press the right arrow button to highlight the minute field.  Press the plus  or minus  buttons to increase or decrease the minute.

Press the right arrow button to highlight the second field.  Press the plus  or minus  buttons to increase or decrease the second.

Press the down  button and the Date: field will be highlighted in yellow and the month will be highlighted in red.

Press the plus or minus  buttons to increase or decrease the month.

Press the right arrow button to highlight the day field.  Press the plus  or minus  buttons to increase or decrease the day.

Press the right arrow button to highlight the year field.  Press the plus  or minus  buttons to increase or decrease the year.

Press the right arrow button to highlight the time zone field.  Press the plus  or minus  buttons to increase or decrease the time zone.

Press the down button and and the Update field will be highlighted.  Press the Press the plus  button to automatically synchronize the date and time based on the Internet NIST Time Server.

Press the return  button to exit the Set Date and Time field.
