Finally, an easy way to read your water temperature from both indoors and outdoors.

The WS-14 wireless pool and spa thermometer is water proof and floats on the surface of the water. The sensor displays and wirelessly transmits the water temperature to the display console.

The console also includes an indoor thermometer for monitoring air temperature.

The 8-channel selectable switch allows you to monitor temperatures from up to eight different locations.

The screw-on lid design with internal gasket provides a leak free, water resistant design.

The WS-14 includes one remote, and seven additional sensors can be added (F007T air temperature, F007TP temperature probe and F007PT floating pool and spa thermometer) for comprehensive monitoring.

Each remote sensor includes dip switches for channel selection and units of measure (degF vs degC).

The sensor search mode allows you to re-sync sensors without removing and re-inserting batteries.

Optional calibration is provided for the utmost accuracy, Although calibration is optional and not required, the purpose of calibration is to fine tune or correct for any sensor error associated with the devices margin of error and inevitable sensor drift associated with electronic measurements. The measurement can be adjusted from the console to calibrate to a known source.

Ideal for Pool and Spa applications but useful for other temperature applications, the WS-14 includes a display with programmable audible and visual alerts when temperature limits are exceeded..

The display console displays temperature, minimum and maximum temperature, which can be reset manually or daily, date and time.

The scroll mode allows you to view the indoor thermometer and remote channels without pressing any buttons. In scroll mode, all of the indoor and detected outdoor sensors will be displayed in five second intervals.

Important Note: The F007PF is designed to float. If the F007PF is used under a cover and the sensor is constantly submerged, the additional pressure will lead to premature gasket failure. Moisture will enter the sensor compartment and cause sensor failure.

If you use a pool or spa cover, we suggest ordering the F007TP probed sensor instead.

Product Questions

If the sensor(s) have stopped communicating to your console,  it may be as simple as placing the remote(s) (powered up) about 10 feet away from the console, power down and up the console by removing one or more batteries, disconnecting from AC power (if applicable), wait 30 seconds, and put the batteries back in, then wait several minutes to resync.

DO NOT TOUCH ANY BUTTONS and look for the search icon. Wait until the search icon turns off before pressing any buttons.

If you have more than one sensor, make sure they are programmed to transmit on different channels.

If the problem persists, we have a one year warranty. To replace under warranty, please visit: www.AmbientWeather.com/rma.html

Your pool has a significant temperature gradient as a function of depth, particularly when the pool is exposed to direct sunlight. The pool temperature tends to decrease as a function of depth.

To test the accuracy of the sensor, remove it from the pool and set the floating pool and spa thermometer next to the display console. Allow it to stabilize for a couple of hours.

If you are comparing this temperature to another thermometer in your pool, you can place this thermometer next to the floating pool and spa thermometer as well.

The indoor and outdoor temperature should agree within the specified accuracy, +/- 2 degF.

If the sensor is out of specification, we have  a one year warranty. To replace under warranty, please visit: www.AmbientWeather.com/rma.html

If out of warranty, the floating pool and spa thermometer can be replaced here:
