This kit includes everything you need to clean your sensors and replace your lithium backup batteries. We recommend performing this maintenance once a year to ensure accurate readings and prolong the life of your station. This is a one-time use kit.
Over time, your weather station's anemometer, wind vane, and rain bucket can become clogged with dirt, dust, pollen, and other debris. This build-up can cause inaccurate readings and potentially damage your sensors. The Ambient Weather Annual Maintenance Kit provides all the essential tools you need to maintain your station, including a new set of lithium backup batteries.
This kit includes:
- 1 X Precision Screwdriver to remove the wind vane and wind cups.
- Isopropyl Alcohol IPA Swabs for cleaning the battery terminals, wind vane shaft and bearings, rain gauge moving parts, and the tipping spoon. Swabs have a 2-year shelf life.
- 12”x12” Microfiber Cleaning Cloth for cleaning the battery terminals, wind vane shaft and bearings, rain gauge moving parts, and the tipping spoon.
- 2 X Lithium Batteries to replace your current backup batteries. Batteries have a 3–5-year shelf life.
