Download the free AWN app and log in to your AWN account. Your weather station must be connected to manage alerts.
Tap the bell icon on the bottom menu, then select the gear icon at the top right for settings.
Select SMS for text alerts and enter your phone number. If you don't already have AWN +, you'll need to sign up to activate text alerts. This subscription will also give you access to more data layers and history. You can also select Email and App/Push Alerts on this screen.
Once you have selected the alert type, choose the alert's condition, parameter, and threshold. Select Create once finished.

How to set up alerts on desktop:

Visit www.ambientweather.net and log in to your AWN account. Your weather station needs to be connected to manage alerts.
Locate the left-hand menu and select Alerts.
Choose Email and/or App Alerts. SMS/Text Alerts must be set up on your mobile device.
After selecting the alert type, choose the condition, parameter, and threshold. Select Create when you are done.
