  1. The LED on the front of the sensor (see image below, #1) should flash when you put the batteries in and once per minute thereafter. If it is not flashing, it may need to be replaced.
  2. Make sure the sensor is transmitting on channel 1. Remove the battery compartment from the back of the sensor, and make sure the three position switch is in the far left hand position.  if it is not, set the switch to channel 1 and then power down and up the remote sensor by pressing the reset button.
  3. Make sure the console is displaying Channel 1. A common mistake is to switch the console to channel 2 or 3. To switch back to channel 1, press the UP button on the front of the console to switch to channel 1.
  4. If the sensor(s) have stopped communicating to your console,  it may be as simple as placing the remote(s) (powered up) about 10 feet away from the console, power down and up the console by removing one or more batteries, disconnecting from AC power, wait 30 seconds, and put the batteries back in, then wait several minutes to resync.DO NOT TOUCH ANY BUTTONS and look for the search icon. Wait until the search icon turns off before pressing any buttons.Again, make sure both the console and remote are on channel 1.

To rotate or reverse the projection on your clock, press the Rotate button  on the top or back of your clock (depending on the model):

If you own an older Model RC-8427, there is an added step. You must press the SNOOZE/LIGHT key first, let go, and then press the REVERSE key.

Press (do not hold) the DOWN button to switch between 12 hour standard time and 24 hour military time.

The projection brightness or size cannot be adjusted.

The farther away the projection is from the wall or ceiling, the larger and dimmer the projection gets.

No, this feature cannot be modified or controlled. This includes masking one character, or controlling the timing.

  1. If you own a volt meter, test the output of the AC adapter. If the voltage is normal, the device itself may have a connection issue and would need to be replaced.

If the projection is not working:

  1. The clock must be plugged into AC power for the projection to work.  Make sure the AC adapter is plugged in and if on a switched outlet, the switch is on.
  2. It is possible there is an issue with the AC adapter. Remove the batteries from the clock and keep the console plugged into AC power. If the clock powers off, there is a problem with the AC adapter.
  3. If the problem persists, the clock will need replacing.

To prevent channel scrolling, press and hold the UP button for 2 seconds.  To manually switch between channels, press (do not hold) the UP button.
