Wireless Sensor Array No Longer Communicates With The Console

If the sensor array (wind and rain) stopped updating but the outdoor thermo-hygrometer is working fine, read this guide first:

The guide recommends changing batteries and moving the sensor array or console around, or paying attention to barriers,  to overcome interference and distance.

it is important to note what LED light is doing on the bottom of the sensor array:

  • LED on all of the time
  • LED off all of the time
  • LED flashing rapidy
  • LED flashing normally (60 seconds)

If the LED is on all of the time, replace the batteries. If the problem persists, the sensor array needs replacing.

If the LED is off all of the time, replace the batteries. If the problem persists, the sensor array needs replacing.

If the LED is flashing rapidly, replace the batteries. If the problem persists, the sensor array needs replacing.

If the LED is flashing normally. move the array close to the ObserverIP module (about 10 feet away), and then power down and up the ObserverIP Module.

If the problem persists, the sensor array needs replacing.
